My thesis work is a process of developing an ESL program for our small school.  Missouri has implemented several guidelines for various programs in the public school system and ESL is included in those. My goal is to combine the mandates of the state, the programs (or components of programs), and the community needs of our small district.  

When Missouri first implemented these mandates, we had only 3 students from Romania.  Now, 5 years later, we have 40. Most are only LEP, but we have a few ESL.  

The MSIP (Missouri School Improvement Program) handbook as well as other pertinent links will be included in this part of the site.  I will have a copyright on the finished product, but I will be willing to negotiate with other schools who are interested in the information.
