What will happen:

Students will ... collect various plant leaves, identify them and print them on paper. build a leaf identification folio.

What you need:

leaves in good shape tempera paint (thick) manila paper folder plant identification books

What to do:

collect good plant leaves identify them paint and print them on manila paper keep in a collection folio

In the classroom hints:

use soft paper such as manila experiment with best consistency of paint make several different prints of similar type leaves on each page. Label each page. upgrade each folio as need arises (kids bring new leaves)

bark printing fish printing animal tracks - make casts, then print
