The students will paint with colored salt and water. In doing this they will see that the water will evaporate and the salt will not. Goal: The students will observe and understand the process of evaporation. Objectives:
Background Information: The lesson goes along with a Science unit. The water cycle that goes along with the elements of weather. How the sun warms the water in the oceans and lakes and the water evaporates into the air. The water vapor in the air condenses into clouds. The clouds become heavy with water and the rain falls back into the ocean and lakes. Concepts: The students will be able to:
