Spanish. José speaks Spanish!
Let's draw José!

middle for his eyes.
- Hat - Draw the rim of his hat by making a large oval shape about half-way down the boy's
head

- Arms - Draw the arms as shown. The boy's hands can be made by drawing small circles and
drawing the fingers as small oval shapes

- Head - Erase all lines not needed (as shown). Finish his head by adding his ear, nose,
mouth and hair. Add the top of his hat as shown.

natural. Be sure to add all the details such as his neck-tie, the buttons on his shirt,
his belt and his shorts.
- Greeting - José is from Arg entina and speaks Spanish. He says hi by saying ¡HOLA!
Write his greeting in his speech-bubble (as shown).

- Head - complete her head by adding her scarf (as shown), nose and mouth. Make sure the
scarf "puffs" out around her head and neck rather than being made from the
original circle making up her head.
- Body - add the details to her body like her buttoned skirt and sandals
- Greeting - Aziza is saying "Hello" in Arabic. She pronounces it
"Salam". Write the Aziza's greeting in her speech-bubble.

Let's draw Sunita!
- Head - Sunita's head is a large circle with two smaller circles for eyes. Add a small
circle on the left side for her ear and a big bow on the top of her head. You can begin to
see where we will draw her hair by making
- the lines for her hair-line. (as shown)
- Body - Sunita's body is a rectangular shape. Add ovals at the bottom of her chin for her
neck and buttons on her blouse.
- Arms - Begin by making her hands which look like two pie-slices placed in the rectangle
slightly to the right. Add the lines for her arms as shown.
- Legs - Sunita's legs are m ade of two ovals placed close together. Draw another two
ovals, creating her feet at the bottom of her legs.
Yo is the character you'll always find in these cartoons! Yo speaks English.
Lets draw Yo!
- Head - First draw two large ovals for his eyes and a check mark for his mouth. Above his
eyes draw Yo's crazy hair. (as shown).

Yo's body as a large rectangle tilted on its side. His feet can be drawn as two ovals near

hands to the body wth long lines that make his arms.
