Hi Donna, I know you are really busy, but if you have some time and if you know, could you tell me about the AR reading program? How do they decide how many books the kids have to read , and why if they only allow 10 min. a day for this, and make it part of their grade. example: Lacey's reading test says she's at a 4.8 which gives her an A, but due to the fact that she doesn't have time to do these AR books they say she's getting a D+. A lot of parents are saying they have the same problem. I explained to them that it's 4:15 when she gets off the bus, we eat , do homework ,and bathe, which brings us to 7:30-8:00 time for bed. How can something they admit they don't allow time for be allowed to effect their grade that much or at all. They just shrug their shoulders. What can I do , Lacey's grades are very important to her an she's really stressed now!! If you know please let me know if not we thank you for your time any way. Have A Great Day!!!! Marlia
